The generous peeps over at What To Expect.com are giving a first time mom just what she needs: not one, not two but all three books in their series What to Expect. When I was pregnant with Buggie (my first born) I loved reading What to Expect. It seemed like the tried and true classic pregnancy book that most moms I knew referenced. It was on my older friends’ coffee tables, night stands, etc. It was a staple pregnancy book. Then when Buggie was born I turned to What to Expect: The First Year and naturally, once that first year went by I moved on to What to Expect: The Second Year.
I like the What to Expect (WTE) books because I like the way they’re laid out. Set up in a conversational or advice column format it makes for very easy and fast reading. If you read FTM frequently you’ll know that I am not a fan of reading things that are too flowery or wordy. Get to the point because I don’t have the time to read through line after line of descriptions that don’t pertain to the main idea. With the WTE books I can peruse the chapter that applies to my current stage of pregnancy or the age of my baby and look through the questions that have been submitted. If a question isn’t something that I’m wondering about then I move on without feeling like I’m missing pertinent information.
To celebrate all of you first time mommies WTE and Created by Laurie are sponsoring a giveaway. One winner will receive all three WTE books and $20 to the Etsy store, Created by Laurie. Be on the look out for the skinny on Created by Laurie; I have a mad fabulous review coming for you all that will make your mouths drool over some seriously adorable items in her shop!
What qualifies you for this giveaway? Well, you need to either be pregnant with your first or only have one child. Simple. So enter away my FTM friends and best of luck!
